READERS
Readers take part in services within the three churches of the Team. All Readers have a ‘home’ church at which they have a particular responsibility for worship and ministry.
St Matthew and St James: The parish has 2 Readers who take a full part in Sunday ministry.
All Hallows: The parish has 4 Readers who take a full part in parish ministry, one of whom at present has particular responsibilities at St Barnabas. The parish also has a person in training for Ordained Local Ministry.
St Barnabas: The parish has a retired Reader whose licence has been extended and takes a full part in Sunday ministry.
Further assistance is provided by a number of retired priests who live in the area.
YOUTH WORKER
St Matthew and St James, and All Hallows share the cost of a full-time Youth Worker, to develop ministry with and amongst young people within the Team.
