Ruth Hulser
Tabora, Tanzania
Ruth is a qualified GP who works with the Church Mission Society (CMS) in Tabora, Tanzania. Whilst based at a Clinic in Tabora, much of the work involves reaching out to remote communities. Recently, Mossley Hill Church created a ‘Petrol Fund’ which raised over £1,000!
Their Toyota Hilux is being used for village outreach, reaching up to 284 patients a week and repetitively as ambulance.
Ruth is currently focusing on three growth areas.
Stabilise and grow the Home Based Care Services in 4 Taboran suburbs.
Grow and stabilise the work reaching out as Familia Moja. (One Family) A new community medical outreach project. This service is the humanly most satisfying - but very challenging.
Extend the existing clinic work and also solidify it by encouraging the existing staff, extending some of the buildings, establish new services, and improve existing service.
